The Entertainment and Sports Arena is a versatile venue in Southeast, primarily serving as the home for the Washington Mystics and the Washington Capitals' G League affiliate, the Capital City Go-Go.

Northwest Stadium
Northwest Stadium, located in Landover, Maryland, just outside of the District, is the home stadium for the Washington Commanders football team. The stadium also hosts major concerts, college football games, and other large-scale events throughout the year.
How to get there:
Metrorail: To get to the Commanders’ stadium by Metro, take the Green Line at any Metrorail station heading toward Greenbelt. Ride the Green Line to Morgan Boulevard Station, which is the closest station to the Northwest Stadium. From the Morgan Boulevard Station, the stadium is a 15-minute walk. Shuttle buses are also available from the station to the stadium.
Collegiate Sporting Teams
Georgetown University – McDonough Arena
Georgetown University, located in the heart of the District, is known not only for its rich academic history, but also its vibrant athletic culture. The university's men’s basketball team, known as the Georgetown Hoyas, compete in NCAA Division I. Although the men’s basketball team plays at the Capital One Arena (see above for available options), McDonough Arena houses the women’s basketball and volleyball games, both known for their powerhouse players.

George Washington University – Charles E. Smith Center

The university’s sports teams, known as the GW Colonials, compete in NCAA Division I as part of the Atlantic 10 Conference. GWU is particularly recognized for its basketball teams, both men's and women's, that play at the Charles E. Smith Center.

Howard University – Burr Gymnasium
Howard is a historically Black university located in Washington, DC.
