Free City Cycling Class and Community Rides for CaBi Members!

Spring is in the air, which means the Washington Area Bicyclists Association (WABA) cycling classes have finally returned! And, in even better news: City Cycling class or Community Ride are free to Capital Bikeshare members!

WABA classes teach biking for transportation, fun, and fitness. They offer sessions for adults of all skill levels throughout the Washington area:

      • Learn to Ride: This class is for adults who have never ridden a bike before and want to start now. Instructors take students through a progressive curriculum, with the goal of riding with two pedals by the end of the session. A bike and helmet are included with registration.
      • City Cycling: Join WABA for a morning of skills, confidence, and community building. In this class, students will learn specific bike handling skills; go for a short ride; and discuss strategies for riding on different roads, bike lanes, and trail situations.
